Dramatis Personae

The 476
In summer of 2005, my boyfriend purchased a family-sized house on Pederson Crescent, a short, quiet street uptown on Fredericton's south side. He renovated his purchase into student housing, since the house is a short walk from both of the city's universities. I moved in last autumn. The following are my housemates.
Benjamin	"Let's play Miniiiis!"
Pic 1 |	More than he loves me, Benjamin loves Dungeons & Dragons, which he has always played, and the ocean-front beach in his Nova Scotia hometown. Ben, who moved here in '04 to attend university, met me online and soon became my boyfriend. At 6'7", he is acclaimed in sports ranging from volleyball to cheerleading. Joel	"Goddammit, who shook my Pepsi!"
Pic 1 | Pic 2	Joel and I have been friends, and at times more, since beginning high school together in '98. He is contemplative and philosophical, and studies anthropology and archaeology with fascination. He drinks far too much Pepsi, sleeps very little, and usually ponytails his frustratingly-frizzy hair. He thinks the word pinto is hilarious and can put his legs behind his head. Willie	"Blam blam!"
Pic 1 | Pic 2	The "flying wigger" is shameless and completely insane. Despite being a skilled artist, he works for Verizon as a telemarketer, but he can't resist the urge to goof off on the job by using fake names and foreign accents in his calls. He can often be found frying meat, drinking vodka at odd hours of the day, or scaring the bejeezus out of Jasmine. He does incredible things in his sleep. Matt	"Oh my GAAAWD!"
Pic 1 | Pic 2	Matt, Benjamin's childhood friend from Merigomish and creator of The 476 Webcomic, moved in last autumn and hopes to attend university to become a teacher. He loves Baileys liqueur, punk music, and Suicide Girls. Not surprisingly, he has multiple piercings and plays bass (not to mention long hours of Guitar Hero), aspiring to be in a band. Maggie	"Cool."
	Maggie became a resident in fall '05 after being invited by Benjamin, with whom she was a member of the UNB cheerleading team. Now, her sports of choice are judo, karate (in which she has a green belt), and playing on her Nintendo Wii. Anime and manga are other Japanese creations she adores, and she is active in film production. She is pensive about global issues, sometimes so fiercely that she struggles to lighten her concern. Ryan	"Llama face!"
Pic 1 | Pic 2 | Pic 3	"Cyclops" has one blue and one green eye; the latter has been blind since a childhood illness. Despite quitting high school at age twenty, the Colonel has a remarkably sharp wit. He is easy-going and amusing, especially when intoxicated, and always willing to do something stupid for the hilarious hell of it or five dollars. He is notorious for randomly falling asleep, but he is best at owning everyone in every video game.	Born 7/12/83 Between jobs Unattached
Joey	"Has anyone seen my wallet?"
Pic 1 | Pic 2	Joey is disturbingly uninhibited in conversation and a bit of a hypochondriac. His bedroom is stuffed with fantasy memorabilia: candelabra, swords and daggers, posters of dragons and nymphs. His hobbies are stealing panties, watching disturbing online cartoons, and picking up girls online. When he sucks at a video game, he always blames the controller. Misty	"I rock!"
Pic 1 | Pic 2	Misty lusts for long-haired men, rock stars especially; in particular, she worships Axl Rose from his heyday with '80s rock group Guns N' Roses. Not surprisingly, she also loves tattoos: she has two, and plans for several more. She also idolizes Marilyn Monroe and Angelina Jolie, pictures of whom adorn her bedroom walls. Though she loves to party and is goofy and silly, she is fiercely opinionated and protective when need be. Melissa	"Hey hun!"
Pic 1 | Pic 2	Born with spina bifida, Melissa uses a wheelchair. A day-care worker, Melissa especially loves her young nephew and niece. She loves to chat on the phone and MSN to her friends, of which she has so many that she cannot designate one best. She loves to sing, dance, swim, and play basketball, and has won many prizes for the latter. Also, she is Nickelback's biggest fan! She's the happiest, most cheerful person I know.
