I have always lived on the chilly? east coast of Canada in the province of New Brunswick. I was born in its modestly-sized capital, Fredericton; raised in Keswick, an outskirting rural area; and last year moved into the city on my own to attend university. My schooling was short-lived due not to meagre grades (in fact, I was twice invited into the Honours English programme) or lack of money but to feeling ill-taught anything useful.
In the meantime, I play housewife in "The 476," a two-storey home purchased in 2005 by my boyfriend Benjamin. Additional occupants of the house include our little girls (cats Maya and Jasmine, bunny Nora, gerbil Icewind and iguana Kanna), five human friends and their pets (a chinchilla, a lovebird, two betta fish and a cichlid). I am proud to state that most of our pets have been adopted from shelters or previous owners; I urge prospective owners to always adopt to reduce the tragic numbers of homeless pets.
